You know those "special" moments when your brain doesn't quite fire properly? Oftentimes, whoever you are talking to just looks at you blankly while trying to figure out if you are are serious or not. This blog is dedicated to those moments. I have two loved ones, who I frequently experience those moments with, and several others who it happens occasionally with. We all laugh at these stories, and they are all very true scenarios.

Cats like dairy?
Sometime back in 2013, I began a conversation about pink camouflage. I was telling H that I hated it but since technically deer can't see pink, it passes radar. That began this conversation:
H: "Who says deer can’t see pink?"
Me: “Scientists.”
H: “Scientists can be wrong.”
Me: "Oh?"
H: "Yeah, they can be. Scientists said cats can't taste sugar, yet they like ice cream."
At this point, I paused to look at her, judging her sincerity. Sure enough, she was serious.
Me: “I'm sure cats eating ice cream has everything to do with the sugar and nothing at all to do with with the dairy."
H: "Cats like dairy?”
Pause for about 3 seconds, then
H: “Oh yeah!"
An epiphany was had.
